Lisa Hutchinson has been a journalist with the company for the past 20 years. She is a Newcastle lass who knows the area and has an understanding of our readers. She has worked as a reporter in many of the regional offices and was in the thick of the Meadow Well riots when based in North Shields. She then covered news areas such as South Tyneside, Tyne Valley and Durham before moving to our headquarters in Newcastle's Groat Market. Lisa is our early morning reporter and is first on the spot when breaking news happens. She covers hard news such as murders and arsons to human interest stories that can bring a tear to your eye.
