ANIMALS as diverse as black leopards and seals are featured in the last part of Animal Rescue Squad.
The series is presented by Teesside-born Michaela Strachan and former Blue Peter presenter Matt Baker, who was brought up on a farm in County Durham.
The project has looked at the urgent work going on to protect animals at home and abroad.
Stories range from big conservation projects to tiny wildlife sanctuaries.
In the closing episode, a black leopard goes on a road trip, a seal is released into the wild, and a rescued dog undergoes an op.
The series focuses on the unsung heroes of animal conservation, who work tirelessly to improve the lives of creatures in zoos, safari parks and wildlife reserves.
