But what about people who have sexsomnia?
The condition — which apparently affects 100,000 people in the UK — causes sufferers to try to have sex while asleep.
It’s just one of the sleep-related issues addressed in Sleep Walkers: Secrets of the Night.
A couple, Tim and Amanda, allowed cameras into their bedroom to record Tim’s behaviour.
There are emotional scenes as Tim and Amanda watch the footage and Tim sees for himself what he does during his sleep.
He said: “It’s taken a toll on our relationship. We’re becoming more argumentative.”
