DEPARTING Lucy-Jo Hudson, who plays vet’s daughter Rosie in Wild at Heart, has paid tribute to her co-star Stephen Tompkinson.
She said the Teesside-born actor taught her a lot in her three-year stint on the series.
She said: “It’s been brilliant because a lot of my work was with Stephen, and I love him so much and look up to him, and I learned a lot this series.
“I conquered a few fears, as well, working with him, with certain animals.
“I had a few incidents with elephants which frightened me a little bit.”
Lucy-Jo said the script has been written so she can return to the series in the future.
In tonight’s episode Rosie makes a decision about leaving the animal refuge for university.
