Naked ambition ruins relationship

CORRIE: Dev plans a romantic proposal to Tara at the unveiling of her art installation.

What’s Tara planning? Oh, yes, unveiling that rather embarrassing artwork showing Dev in a less than flattering light.

The day doesn’t go to plan for either when secrets come tumbling out of the closet.

By the end of the day, the engagement that never was is off and the entire Street gets an eyeful of Dev’s attributes.

EMMERDALE: Rodney can’t put his finger on the reason why his daughter Nicola is still unwell. But we know, don’t we? Doctors confirm she is four months up the duff, but it’s not good news.

There’s talk of an abortion, much to Laurel’s horror, before Nicola decides to go ahead with the pregnancy. There’s just one small problem . . . should she tell daddy about the baby or keep mum?

EASTENDERS: A drunken Phil falls down the stairs and cuts his head as another week begins in Albert Square.

He’s taken to hospital where he tells Peggy she is the cause of all his troubles.

She tries to help but Phil refuses to let her, leading to more upset for his son Ben.

Meanwhile, Stacey steals Max’s house keys and waits for him in his bed.
