“TAKE the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step” — MARTIN LUTHER KING.
IF you are trying to reach a specific goal or want to embark on a project but are having trouble getting started or motivated, a good strategy is to take action towards it on a daily basis.
No matter how small or simple it is, some action is better than none and soon you will start to gather momentum and begin to rocket towards reaching your target.
Some examples might be . . .
V Your goal is to improve your health and fitness . . . you could choose to use the stairs at work instead of the lift or make a point of drinking eight glasses of water every day.
V Your goal is to write a novel or short story . . . you might choose to write just one paragraph or page a day.
The most important thing is to get into action. Not only will you feel much more positive, you will soon start to see the results.
Why not try this for the next week and see what happens?
V What is/are your goal(s)?
V What will your “single daily action(s)” be?
Here’s to an extraordinarily productive week!
