Plan would divide us all

I DON’T think I would like Professor Alison Wolf if I had the misfortune to meet her.

She’s the boffin who thinks public sector pay in the North should be slashed.

“Why?” I hear you ask. So there’s more money for the poor little rich boys and girls in the South who have to live in a more expensive area.

According to the Big Bad Wolf, they need more money for their houses, their cars, and their food because the cost of living is higher.

So, in her view, we should have less so they can have more.

Well, pardon me for bending over and blowing a raspberry in the prof’s direction, but . . . pluuurpt!

We’re hardly likely to listen to a wealthy academic who never has to worry where the next meal is coming from.

It’s a world where the rich get richer and the poor get screwed.

And now we know why – because the economy is weighted for them and against us.

Always has been, always will be.

The prof helped compile a report for the so-called think tank CentreForum.
