Mum’s Pill shock

A SHOCKED mum has described how a chemist refused to dispense a prescription for the Pill on religious grounds.

The woman was turned away from the Lloyds chain by someone who decided she knew better.

The shop has apologised and launched an investigation.

It should go further and sack the chemist responsible for this appalling mistake.

An individual chemist’s faith should never contradict the legal right of a woman to have the Pill.
