Willies won’t work

TRY saying Matteson’s without saying “mmm”. Now try watching their latest telly ad for sausages without thinking, ahem, willies.

It’s got to be the most suggestive ad since Cadbury’s flake.

But here’s a message to advertising execs . . . you really don’t need sex to sell something.

Best on the box is the Spice Girls flogging Tesco. It is a light- hearted promo showing the girls trying to avoid each other as they buy Christmas presents.

And it has better production values than Spice Girls: The Movie.
