THE sight of two old codgers having a natter is not everyone’s idea of entertainment.

Yet ITV expect us to watch Philip Windsor and Trevor McDonald chew the cud in a documentary this week.

It’s brings to mind another ageing double act.

Remember the inconsequential banter between local telly presenter Mike Neville and weatherman Bob Johnson.
