HUNDREDS of pounds will be added to the average energy bill this year, it is feared.
Fair enough, perhaps, there’s a credit crunch and we all have to pay the price.
However, I see no signs that npower, British Gas and the rest are willing to share the pain by keeping profits down.
These companies coin it in to an obscene extent and it would not be asking much to limit the expected price increases.
Bosses should think of their wider responsibilities while gorging on caviar in the boardroom.
