I‘d give the Royal Mail short shrift

IF I were a postie, I’d be revolting. Not because of jobs, or pay, or new technology.

Not even because of the hours or changed working practices. But because the bosses make you wear those shorts. There’s nothing more strange than seeing grown men go to work in shorts.

If I were a postie, I’d go on strike until I was allowed to wear long trousers and join the grown-ups in the real world.
