Lost for words

I AM indebted to a friend working in the public relations industry for drawing my attention to a rather embarrassing error made by those lovely people at One NorthEast, the region’s development agency.

Having expressed an interest in running a marketing campaign for the agency, my friend received a letter telling her “the selected supplier must be able to deliver a high quality service in a professional manor”.

That shouldn’t be a problem . . . there’s no shortage of marvellous manor houses in the region.

And as tourism comes under One NorthEast’s remit, perhaps it could suggest a few.
