Words to strike fear

ACCORDING to a survey, “we need to talk” is the most dreaded phrase in the English language, just behind “the boss wants to see you”.
Not where I come from it’s not.
But then, the phrase most likely to strike fear into my heart — “last orders please!” — didn’t even make it into the top 10.
