Bullying at work is a serious problem and what Ms Fletcher endured was unforgivable.

But she surely can’t have been so naive as to expect an Army barracks to excel in political correctness.

Besides, surely soldiers have to be tough . . . both physically and mentally. I suspect most would have simply brushed aside the advances of this idiotic sergeant.

But it seems Ms Fletcher is a sensitive soul. There’s nothing wrong with that . . . but I wonder whether she was ever cut out for Army life in the first place.
