Propaganda war rages

HOW curious that supposed confirmation of Kevin Keegan suing Newcastle United should originate in a London newspaper.
For it was the same London newspaper to which Magpies owner Mike Ashley gave an exclusive, unprecedentedly candid interview in July.
Coincidentally, pretty much all of the information — accurate or not — painting Keegan, pictured right, in a less than positive light since his departure from St James’s Park has emanated from the capital.
Unlike some fans, I’d be neither surprised nor upset if a man who felt his agreed working conditions had been unacceptably altered seeks some redress.
But then I’m not on either side of a propaganda war.
