IMAGINE my surprise this week when I opened a little parcel to find one ITV viewer had sent me a scarf.
Elizabeth Armstrong, from North Yorkshire, made the multi-coloured creation from odd balls of wool lying around.
And all because she heard me say one night that I would like a warm scarf.
Pam Royle was exceedingly jealous and I was exceedingly grateful.
What touched me even further was Elizabeth’s letter stating that she would understand if I decided not to wear it.
“Just give it to a charity shop,” she said modestly. Not on your life. I can’t promise I will wear it every day, but Elizabeth’s gift will be a constant reminder of human kindness.
Did you hear about?
DID you hear about the American architect who has set a new record for the world’s biggest house of cards?
It took Bryan Berg 44 days, 218,792 cards and 4,051 decks to create a replica of the world's biggest resort hotel – the Venetian Macau Hotel in China.
I wouldn't have the “patience”. Doesn’t he ever just fancy putting up his feet and playing Snap?
