North woman finally gets door

IT’S taken six months for a furniture store to deliver the right door to Janet Trotter.

But I finally closed the door on the dispute after telling Harveys to get a handle on it.

Janet, of Lynemouth, Northumberland, had ordered bedroom furniture in January.

Door number one arrived with a broken mirror.

Door number two was right-handed instead of left-handed.

And door number three, undamaged and the correct specification, was dispatched after my intervention.

A spokesman for Harveys said: “The replacement is due for delivery and the customer has received an allowance of £60.”

Janet later confirmed she had received the missing door.
