A MISSING refund turned up after I took up a complaint on behalf of Linda Anderson.
Linda told me she agreed to have a new kitchen fitted, along with an electric oven. But she changed her mind and upgraded to a gas oven at an extra cost of £100.
She said: “I paid the extra money to the delivery man. When we started work fitting the kitchen we realised it was still the electric one.”
Linda, of Hetton-le-Hole, Tyne and Wear, decided to keep the one that was delivered.
She said she telephoned Rock Solid Kitchens, of Oldham, Lancashire, on several occasions but did not get a refund.
A spokeswoman for the company said: “There was an error in our posting department. I have sent it out and it should be with Mrs Anderson soon.”
Linda later confirmed that she had received the refund.
