Joy at hole repair

DOREEN BELL was in a hole when her leather settee from MFI was damaged.

Insurers said they would not repair a hole in the arm because Doreen did not know the cause.

She said: “We took out extra cover on the advice of the salesman thinking it would cover everything.”

I passed the complaint to MFI, who promised to investigate.

A spokesman said: “We will be in touch with Doreen to resolve the matter.”

Doreen, of Forest Hall, North Tyneside, later confirmed that the repair had been made.
