Complaint laid to rest by driveway firm

A DRIVEWAY company has proved to be all it was cracked up to be after all.

Dave Beeforth told me how cracks developed in the drive of his home shortly after it was laid.

Dave, of Redcar, Teesside, said: "A small crack appeared within weeks.

"I have made at least 12 calls to the company, who said they would deal with it but never come.

"Now there are more cracks and the drive has lost its colour in places."

I made several calls to Decorative Concrete Solutions, of Ingleby Barwick, Stockton.

At first, owner Chris Tappenden said: "We have not been able to get out."

Later, however, arrangements were made to fix the drive.

Some work has already been carried out and the rest is due to be done shortly.
