I KILLED the bill when Tess Malley disputed a demand for money from Npower.
Tess told me how the energy provider was chasing £600 on a house which was not occupied for six months.
He said: “They are even preparing court papers against me.
“As you can imagine I am not happy with this and it is causing considerable concern.”
Tess, of Hebburn, South Tyneside, asked for my help.
And a spokeswoman had good news.
She said: “Apparently he took possession of the property in November but did not move in until March. We were never actually informed about this so bills were sent out.
“We have re-billed his account from the time he moved in and his account now stands at £15.79.
“We have withdrawn this as a goodwill gesture.”
