Total Paving Solutions pave the way to happiness

BIG weeds and a carpet of grass on new block paving prompted a couple to ask for my help.

Tony and Margaret Mulley told me how they paid £800 for paving only to find vegetation growing through.

They tried to get answers from Total Paving Solutions (TPS) but were fobbed off again and again.

Then, finally, boss John Devlin said nothing would be done ... because the company was going out of business.

Margaret, of South Shields, South Tyneside, said: “The drive is covered in grass and weeds after just one year.

“We have lost count of the number of phone calls we have made to TPS asking for someone to put it right.

“We were often told they would send someone out only for no one to come and it happened again and again. It was like talking to a parrot.”

Then she received bad news from TPS, of Parklands, Gateshead, saying they could no longer help with remedial work because they were going out of business.
