IT was a case of past, present and future for a local history group when I looked into a complaint for reader Sheila Dobson.
The past: Sheila had ordered two DVDs about the history of Blyth, Northumberland.
The present: they were a gift for her husband Henry, but they did not arrive.
The future: Three months later, Sheila asked for my help and, within days, the DVDs were delivered.
Sheila had ordered the DVDs from Six Townships Community History Group via their website.
She said: “The money was taken out of my bank but I received nothing for it.
“I tried to email but there was no reply and I tried to phone but there was no answer.”
I spoke to John Dawson, of the group, and he said there had been problems with the website.
He said: “We have had a security breach but everything is up and running now. Mrs Dobson has my apologies.”
