All rosy in Pam’s garden

PAMELA Sibbett’s little bit of bother and quarrel with B&Q has finally been sorted out.

Two weeks ago I told how Pamela had ordered garden furniture from the store’s Scotswood branch.

Nothing unusual in that – except she had to wait three months for delivery.

Pamela, of Cramlington, Northumberland, was told the order had been cancelled. Not by her, it wasn’t.

A spokesman for B&Q said: “We are sorry for the problems that Ms Sibbett has experienced as this is not our usual high level of customer service.

“The Sun Circle Kit is being delivered to store this week and we have offered Ms Sibbett a gesture of goodwill which she is happy to accept.”

Pamela told me she had received the furniture and £50 in cash and vouchers.”
