BILLIONAIRE Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has won £1.3m on a single spin of a roulette wheel.
The Magpie boss hit gold by placing £480,000 on combinations of the his lucky number 17 at a casino in London.
Ashley, 45, used a technique known as the complete to gain his massive windfall.
Usually gamblers stay away from this technique as it means putting all your ante “all in one basket”.
After scooping up his winnings and turning to leave the table he is reported to have said to the croupier: “That’ll do me, thanks very much.”
