Meet Longbenton YouTube star Baldy Holly

HE may look like a beefed-up muscle man who would be more comfortable pumping iron.
But Jamie Bell enjoys nothing more than performing timeless classics on his guitar and sharing them with the world on the internet.
Jamie, of Longbenton, North Tyneside, has posted more than 50 clips on the video-sharing website YouTube.
Performing under the name of Baldy Holly, Jamie’s tributes include such greats as Buddy Holly, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and The Beatles.
Jamie, 29, said: “I absolutely love performing the songs and when a friend of mine showed me what YouTube was, I just knew I had to share my songs with fellow music lovers.
“I have always been into this type of music since I saw Grease when I was nine.”
Thousands of people have seen his clips. Jamie said: “It’s really rewarding when you get people leaving comments on your webpage saying they like what you do.”
He performs with three friends as the Baldy Holly Band. Jamie said: “We have done a few gigs and we have gone down really well.”
