FOOTBALL legend Paul Gascoigne’s son hates the game which made his dad a household name, we can reveal.
Instead of kicking a ball around, young Regan Gascoigne, 12, keeps his fancy footwork for the dance floor.
The revelation is made by Gazza’s step-daughter Bianca in a documentary for Wedding TV. In a new series of WAGs’ World, she tells presenter Lizzie Cundy how Regan prefers dancing shoes to football boots.
She said: “He does not like football at all. No, he is a performer. He goes to a performing arts school.
“When he goes dancing he has such good balance and co-ordination, while my dad’s got balance and co-ordination in his football.”
In the show, Lizzie — wife of ex-Chelsea star Jason Cundy — suggested Regan is a real-life Billy Elliot.
And Bianca said: “Yeah, he is, absolutely. You will see him on stage in years to come.”
Regan is Gazza’s son with his ex-wife Sheryl.
The fallen hero missed the birth because he was on a drinks binge at the time.
He has spent years without contact with Regan following a series of personal problems, and the boy lives with his mother in Hertfordshire.
Earlier this year, Gazza reportedly told pals he was helping Regan with his football skills.
Father and son spent the day kicking a football in the grounds of the Priory Hospital, where Gazza was sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
At the time, Gazza told a friend: “We will have to see if his old dad’s football talents have rubbed off on him.”
In the documentary, Bianca says she is stepping out of Gazza’s shadow to forge her own career in showbiz.
But she has denied rumours of Paul and Sheryl getting married again.
Lizzie asked if there will be any wedding bells in the family, and Bianca replied: “I don’t think there will be, to be honest. At least, not yet.”
She also revealed that Regan watches the pennies, saying: “He’s a bit of an old man.
“The other day, I was in a room and he came in and turned off the light because he wanted to save electricity!”
