SIXTIES icon Twiggy — now a role model for mature women — was in the North yesterday to sign her new book.
Called A Guide to Looking And Feeling Good Over Forty, the 59-year-old certainly lives up to its title.
In the book she passes on personal tips and secrets, from what make-up to use to what clothes to wear.
She is now one of the faces of high-street giant M&S and appeared at its store in Northumberland Street, Newcastle, for the book signing.
Her arrival generated interest from both male and female shoppers wanting to know how to stay young.
