FOOTBALL-CRAZY Graham Bridgewood loves nothing better than cheering on his favourite team from the stands.
And Newcastle United is clearly a fan of his vocals too . . . he’s scored a dream job as the new voice of the Toon.
The silken-voiced 32-year- old — who works as a scriptwriter and voiceover artist for Get Carter Productions — produces radio adverts promoting matches at St James’s Park.
So, when he heard the Magpies were planning a new telephone system, he jumped at the chance to get involved.
NUFC thought his Geordie tones were pitch-perfect and Graham has now recorded more than 100 messages for the club’s telephone system, telling callers about everything from up-to-date ticket and fixture information to memberships details, stadium tours, corporate hospitality and even weddings.
He said: “When we got the opportunity to work with the club I was over the moon.
