AS well as practising his burlesque moves, Warren is also busy on another exciting project . . . a zombie horror movie.
Warren is the writer and director behind Zombie Women of Satan, the North’s newest movie which is set to have its premiere at the Film4 FrightFest, the UK’s leading fantasy and horror event, held in London’s Leicester Square this August.
The film follows a mad scientist who runs a cult in a country house, where he turns a group of kidnapped women into zombies through a series of experiments, and it’s set to be a very gory affair.
Filming started in Rowlands Gill, Gateshead, last Tuesday, and the 50 cast and crew members have been having a ball.
Warren said: “I’m really excited about the film and we’ve got some great people working on it.
“It’s only being shot on a micro budget and doesn’t have any big names but the team we have are great, and we’ve already been told it will premiere at FrightFest.
“Distributors in Britain and Los Angeles have picked it up for a DVD release too.
“To be honest, I’m more excited about the film than I am about the Casino de Paris show!”
