Georgia, of The Orchard, in Paxton, applied to take part in the competition via its website.
She was one of 500 invited to interview and eventually told she had made the final 40.
At Birmingham, she will be interviewed by a panel of eight, including a footballer’s wife, a radio DJ, a Bollywood actor, a fashion expert, and TV star Nick Knowles.
She will then take part in modelling contests, wearing a little black dress, a bikini and an evening gown.
Georgia is not sure whether she can win.
But she said: “I am going to go with a smile on my face. I got to the top 40, I could not believe it.”
Georgia, a former pupil at Berwick High School, has done a photo shoot for men’s magazine Front, but she believes it is important to have a career outside modelling.
Georgia currently works as a horticultural assistant at Pallinsburn Estate near Cornhill but hopes to study psychology at university in September.
