IS it lemon yellow? Or does it look like a mango Solero?
There has been much debate about the new Newcastle United away strip for next season. Some love it, others hate it.
And over the years North clubs have had their fair share of eye-wateringly bad kits - although there have been some pretty good ones, too...
The Sunday Sun spoke to fans of the region’s teams to find the best and worst of the bunch.
Toon fan Malcolm Shiels said: “There was a hideous blue and orange away strip a while ago, it was in the 90s. It was a colour combination which just didn’t work. The new away strip is pretty terrible too.
“I just like the traditional strip, black and white stripes, you can’t go far wrong with those.”
Sunderland fanzine editor Martyn McFadden is another fan who likes the traditional kits, said: “We had a strange shirt a while ago, we were told it was salmon and teal but it just looked pink to me, it made my eyes hurt.
“And I remember there was uproar in the 1980s when we had the home kit which was white with red pinstripes. It just went against tradition.”
