A NORTH advertising agency will become an office of bare trading for a documentary being aired this week.
Brave staff at Onebestway spent a whole day in the buff as part of an unusual office experiment, and millions of people around the UK will be able to see the results in an extremely revealing TV debut.
The agency, based in Walker, Newcastle, spent a week with a film crew after being picked to become The Naked Office by freeview station Virgin 1.
The 10-year-old company, which has eight members of staff, has worked with a variety of clients over the years from Age Concern and Audi, to Oldfields restaurants and Newcastle Cathedral, but admits it is struggling to survive the recession.
Virgin 1 brought in business guru and bestselling author David Taylor to help them.
And in a move reminiscent of barmy boss David Brent on cult TV show The Office, the expert reasoned that, by stripping off their clothes, staff would lose their inhibitions and talk to each other more openly and honestly.
During a week-long lead-up to Naked Friday, the employees were given a number of tasks to break down nerves.
First they were asked to photocopy a part of their body. Then they sketched a nude model. Finally they were asked to strip down to their birthday suits – but only if they were happy to.
