WITH the country sinking deep into the uncertainty of recession last October the Sunday Sun turned to the predictive talents of a financial adviser, an astrologer, and a fortune-teller to see what the future might hold. How did they fair? A year on we return to our experts for another glimpse into their crystal balls . . .
“I am calling my year ahead, ‘a taste of things to come’. It will see the old fighting against the new. Pressures will start to build.
“People who are creative or optimistic are going to jump into a new way of living, but the old will try to keep everything safe and secure.
“This is a risk-taking year, Saturn is going into Libra, so it will be a difficult time for relationships. Uranus is going into Aries, which signifies new beginnings.
“There will be a strong connection to uniform in the coming year. It will be reflected everywhere, particularly in fashion.
“I said it will take three years for recovery to happen, and over the next year everything will turn around completely. People won’t like the old changing for the new.
GYPSIE fortune-teller Angeline Lee had predicted a new Prime Minister and a change in people’s attitudes to money.
She said: “Money will certainly start to pick up this year. The credit crunch is going to start to mend.
“And business will start to get better and properties will start to improve in value.
“People have learned how to live without money, so next year there will be a bit more money to spend. There will also be more business opportunities, and more jobs for the young.
“The rich will stay too rich and the poor will stay too poor, it won’t level out next year.
“Over the next year people must remember to follow their instincts, and not to let anything stop them. Hard work is always the solution.”
