Katie Price fearful after assault on Leona Lewis

GLAMOUR girl Katie Price is stepping up her security ahead of a visit to the North after a deranged fan attacked Leona Lewis at a book signing.

The busty babe and mother of three is due in the region for her own book signing event this week.

But the 31-year-old admits she will be on her guard after her pubic profile suffered a battering recently following her divorce from chart topper Peter Andre.

Katie is worried a fan could try to lash out and assault her in a repeat of the attack on reality TV singing sensation Leona.

Katie will be at two separate locations on Tyneside to sign copies of her book Standing Out, and former radio presenter Paul Gough will be on hand to help fans get the most out of her appearance.

Speaking to him ahead of the event next Saturday, she said: “When I do signings I don’t have pictures taken next to me.

“Not because I don’t want to do pictures with people but someone behind that desk could be really nice and the next thing they could just put a knife in you or something.
