Teachers get in real mess

WHAT a mess these North teachers found themselves in.

Pupils at Ashington High didn’t need asking twice when they got the chance to gunge their teachers.

The Northumberland school held a no-uniform fun-day of fundraising for the Air Angels campaign, and pulled in £1,600. Half will go to the Teenage Cancer Unit.

Headteacher Rob Kitching was delighted with the attitude of his pupils.

He said: "We have six of these fundraisers a year and the generosity of the pupils never fails to impress me. It’s been a great day and I think everyone enjoyed gunging the teacher. Some members of staff actually paid to avoid it."
