Girlfriend's given paws for thought

The couple met four years ago during a night out with pals.

They now have 18-month-old twins, Kian and Jayden, as well as Brandon, nine, and Corey, 12, from Karen’s previous relationship.

Graham, 30, said he had been thinking about proposing for a while, but managed to put his plan together in a week, with the help of the hospitality team at Brough Park.

“The atmosphere was fantastic, the food and drinks were great.

“I thought it was the perfect place to do it. Plus I didn’t have any choice once it had been printed in the race programme.

“I was bowled over when Karen said yes. I’m glad she did it quickly because I had to rush off and collect some winnings from a previous race!

“I can’t wait to get married. I’m really looking forward to our life together.”

The couple are now planning a summer engagement party to share the special occasion with their friends.
