IS football-mad Dave Herrington the biggest sports fan in Britain?

With more than 33 years of touring an A-Z of the country’s football stadiums, rugby grounds and racing tracks under his belt, it’s certainly hard to disagree.

From Aldershot to York, the North amateur goalkeeper’s passion for ball sports, horse racing, golf and speedway has turned him into a one-man sports fanatic who devotes every waking moment to his hobbie.

He even spent his honeymoon visiting Scottish football clubs Ross County and Inverness.

The Sunday Sun today reveals the whole amazing list of sporting destinations Dave has visited, including:

:: 132 English football stadiums, across the Premier League and the three divisions below.

:: 200 non-league football grounds, including North sides Morpeth Town, in Northumberland and lowly Chopwell Officials Club, in Gateshead.

:: Millennium Stadium and Wembley The San Siro, home of Italian giants team Inter and AC Milan.

Dave, who lives with wife Pamela in Gosforth, Newcastle, but used to live in the Midlands, said: “I first started going to football matches when I was about three and I’d go to see Aston Villa play.
