THESE brave women have stripped off and posed for a saucy calendar to raise cash for a good cause.
Without props to hide their modesty, the 10 courageous women are baring all for the calendar in support of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
The women, dubbed the “Banana Army”, have already raised £4,000 for the cause but they are hoping the eye-catching calendar will bring in more cash.
One of the organisers Jamie Hume said the project was very much close to her heart, after she lost her dad to cancer last year.
Unlike the smash-hit stage show and world-renowned film Calendar Girls, the women who are all in their 20s and 30s, wanted to bare all without having to hide behind props.
The 34-year-old said: “A lot of calendars have already been made to raise money for charity but we wanted to do something a little bit different so we decided to pose naked for the shots but with nothing on show.
“I’m so proud of the girls. It was really nerve-racking but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
“We have 2,000 calendars for sale and we are hoping to raise as much as we can.”
