Baby girl on the way for Michelle Heaton

IT’S a girl!

Gateshead-born singer and presenter Michelle Heaton is in the pink after revealing her first child with hubby Hugh Hanley will be a daughter – and she can’t wait for her to be born.

The star hasn’t spoken about the sex of her unborn baby, but last week she was spotted buying up lots of pink clothes and other goodies at a Mamas & Papas shop in North London.

Now the former Liberty X singer has confirmed she is indeed having a baby girl, after the Sunday Sun asked her to tell us of her New Year plans.

“Healthy delivery of a bouncing baby girl, preferably not later than January,” she told us.

Michelle, 31, has only a matter of weeks left before she gives birth and both she and Hugh have been busy preparing for the arrival of her first child.

That includes moving into a new home, with lots more space for the young couple.
