Denise Welch packing bags for Celebrity Big Brother

GEORDIE favourite Denise Welch is set to move into a new house this year . . . the Celebrity Big Brother house!

The Waterloo Road actress is among the list of stars rumoured to be packing their bags and heading into the Channel 5 show this Thursday.

County Durham-born Denise, who celebrated Christmas at home with the whole family in Stocksfield, Northumberland, is remaining tight-lipped about her supposed appearance on the show, which switched from Channel 4 to its new terrestrial station home this year.

However, the Loose Women panelist hints at a surprise for fans on a video blog she posted on her brand new website at Christmas.

Filmed in the kitchen of her home, Denise wishes supporters a very Merry Christmas and adds: “I will see you in the New Year.

“There is a couple of surprises for the beginning of January.”
