Fan's marriage proposal for X Factor's Amelia Lily

X FACTOR star Amelia Lily has had her first marriage proposal... from a secret admirer.

But The X Factor star – famed for her trademark pink hair and styling – says she won’t be walking up the aisle just yet. She’s far too busy planning a busy year.

Letting her secret admirer down gently, Amelia said: “I’ve been sent an engagement ring by someone.

“It’s really nice – it’s silver with a pink crystal – and was sent to where I’ve been living in London, but I’m not getting married just yet.

“I didn’t know what to do when I got it – I thought ‘do I wear it or email the person who sent it?’

“When I was in the show there were so many romance rumours, about Frankie and One Direction, but even if I wanted to start seeing someone I just don’t have the time.

“I think I was being linked with boys just because I was seen talking to them. In the house I used to hang out with the boys from The Risk a lot.

“I’ve grown up with two older brothers so I just ‘get’ boys more than I do girls.”

Since coming a highly respectable third in the ITV reality music show last month, Amelia has been back home in the North for three weeks of fun, family time and festivities over Christmas and the New Year ahead of the madness of The X Factor Live Tour, which starts in February and tours the whole of the UK.
