WERE you working in Great Britain during the Second World War? If so, I would like to hear from you.
Testimony Films — an award-winning television production company and makers of What Did You Do In The Great War Daddy? on BBC4, Horror on the Home Front on BBC2, and Britain’s Boy Soldiers on Channel 4 — is making a six-part series “Home Front Heroes” celebrating the hard work and determination of civilians during World War Two. I would specifically like to hear from anyone who was working . . .
- On the land, such as farmers, land girls, evacuees and PoWs.
- Bevin Boys and miners.
- On the railways.
- In the emergency services.
- At sea or in the docks.
