PAGE three of last week’s Sunday Sun has a long article about Ronnie Campbell MP — always good for a laugh, admittedly — unwittingly signing up for National Fetish Day.
This was sneering in tone and illustrated with an enormous photo of a pair of — occupied — thigh-length boots. Page seven, meanwhile, has a huge picture of “sexy songbird Michelle Heaton” — whoever she is — propping up a very thin piece indeed about Ann Summers trying to flog more knickers round here, or something.
At a quick glance, I fear Ms Heaton could well catch her death at this time of year.
Brilliant! Joined-up editing at its finest! — ANDREW MANLEY, Arthur’s Hill, Newcastle.
Do I detect a small amount of sarcasm there, Mr Manley?
