WITH regard to Ken Oxley writing about global warming and Channel 4 being one-sided and unjust to some scientists, let me say that, first of all, it was accepted by a representative of Channel 4 that they were wrong about two or three things.
But their main argument was that it’s not human activity that causes global warming.
This debate has been one-sided for a long time, attributing CO² produced by humans as the cause of global warming when, actually, the heating of the planet by the sun causes the problem.
This is obviously the right way round . . . heating causes CO², not CO² causes heating.
This issue is too important to let one side have all the say.
The last ice age ended a short time over 10,000 years ago. What created global warming then? Certainly not human beings as there weren’t many about. Let the debate begin — E BROWN, Murton, County Durham.
