NICE of you to let your readers know where they can get a pint for 80p. While I won’t be taking advantage, I know a few people who will be.
So, I’m sure the bars in Sunderland and Newcastle will do a brisk trade thanks to you — C CAMERON, Sunderland.
It’s always a worry doing stories like this as for every person appalled by the offer, there are those quick to take advantage. But we believed it of sufficient public interest — particularly with the ongoing binge-drinking debate — to highlight it in the Sunday Sun.
