Spectre sceptic

IN response to Ken Oxley’s comments last week about the spectral apparition in a Derby hospital, I’d respectfully ask that Ken need not be so immediately suspicious that it’s all a wind-up.

A hoax may be an explanation, of course, but there are plenty of examples of apparitional phenomena over the years that aren’t so easily explained.

The same goes with poltergeist activity. This may be such a case.

Please keep an open mind, Mr O. Let’s hope their local exorcist has more than a ghost of a chance of ridding the hospital corridors once and for all — MICHAEL ORD, South Shields, South Tyneside.
