I AGREE with Ken Oxley about Susan Boyle and her looks. However, I also think her age and background history have a huge part to play in the public’s reaction.

I believe, if a woman with appearance and age of Helen Mirren had sung like Susan Boyle, the reaction would still have been huge, but probably not to the same degree – STEVE DAWSON, by email.
