Tigers hit by Bandits

BERWICK BANDITS last night rounded off their Premier League programme on a high note with a narrow win over Glasgow Tigers at Shielfield Park.
Berwick who suffered a 30 point defeat at Edinburgh the previous evening were in front from the start but only clinched the victory in the second last heat.
Paul Clews was the Bandits’ top scorer but it was Tamas Sike who impressed and finally clinched the spoils.
Berwick Scorers: P Clews 11, J Franc 10, M Makovsky 8, T Sike 8, S Burza 7, G Franchetti 3.
Glasgow Tigers: J Grajczonek 14, L Dicken 11, S Parker 7, W Lawson 7, J Grieves 6, A Conda 1.
